Every element of Sukhothai jewellery is made by the hands of superior craftsmen who have developed these techniques dating back 760 years ago (1249 AD – 1438 AD). 

These traditions and techniques of this unique antique style are handed down through the generations.

Sukhothai ornaments are valuable to the Thai cultural heritage and have been inspired by the Thai way of life, nature, and architecture.

To create the fine silver masterpieces, each piece normally comprises from 3 to 100 silver threads neatly knitted together with well-hidden joints.

Supporting the Thai community

Sarinya has carefully selected a community group with the highest ability in craftsmanship. They are not generally businessmen.  Some of the craftsmen work to supplement their income after harvest time on farms or in paddy fields.  Many of them are working full time to make a living for their own families. 

This particular craftsmen community would like to continue making the traditional Sukhothai silver style for years to come and hand down their skills to their next generations.   With your support, you also can help this group of craftsmen to transform the community and provide individuals with full-economic sufficiency and a sustainable livelihood.
